Food Security Garden

Hunger should never coexist with fertile land — yet in Langkloof, it does. Our Food Security Garden initiative establishes and supports community vegetable gardens that provide fresh, nutritious food directly to families in need, while teaching sustainable agricultural practices for long-term food independence.

Reading Club

Literacy is the foundation of every other opportunity. Our Reading Club creates safe, welcoming spaces where children and adults can access books, build reading skills, and fall in love with learning.

Socio-Economic Change

We work to shift the systemic conditions that keep Langkloof's Black and Coloured community locked out of the wealth generated around them — through advocacy, community organizing, and partnership-building with government, businesses and export industry stakeholders.

Business Commercialization Training

Many people in Langkloof have skills and small enterprises but lack the knowledge to formalize and grow them. We provide practical training in business basics: registering a business, pricing, bookkeeping and marketing.
